Overview
Mission
Our mission is to collaborate with marginalized communities in Kenya to eliminate poverty and injustice, and gender inequity by developing programs that foster sustainable livelihoods, promote clean and healthy environments, ensure access to clean water, and provide quality education
Intended Impact
ACOH Foundation aims to foster a more inclusive environment that promotes justice, inclusion, and equity. This will ensure that marginalized rural communities, particularly women and girls children, have equal access to basic needs, ultimately leading to enhanced sustainable livelihoods.
Theory of change
The ACOH Foundation employs a holistic approach to create and promote practical interventions that enable individuals of all genders and life stages to equally contribute to and benefit from social, economic, and political development.
- Through our equity and inclusion services, advocacy efforts, and empowerment programs, we support individuals and organizations in transforming practices, attitudes, and behaviors.
- Our research on gender-responsive education underpins our advocacy and hands-on initiatives focused on girls’ education and women’s empowerment.
- By engaging with all dimensions of women and girls’ lives—at home, in their communities, and within society—we drive positive change in both their public and private spheres, helping them unlock their full potential.
